Hi Friends!!!! Happy Spring!!!
There is finally light at the end of this never ending winter tunnel!!! And I, for one, am thankful!!! I am ready for Spring Blooms, warm days, bird nest building, front porch sweeping, and right on into Summer!!! Yay!
Ask me again in a couple months, when I am looking for someone to fix my air conditioner!! :)
Well, I have been back in the my attic craft room, and finally recorded an instructional video for a very cute Spring Bunny Card... I hope to make more and more of these videos in the coming weeks. And also, to start listing some more of my hand made goods on my website! And I would love to get back into more craft and scrapbook products on my website, as more people show interest in them.
What else have I been up to lately? Well since my father was very ill in January, our family has spent the last few weeks trying to get together and enjoy some grateful family time!! So a lot of cooking, baking, and card making!!
Okay, I am keeping this short so I can get back into my craft room... so here is a link to the youtube video for the Bunny Card Instructional Video... Hope you enjoy!

Why is it that I always begin to think about my blog when Spring is approaching? I'm not sure that I know the answer to that, but I do! Well, here comes Spring... and I am at it again. This year I am making more paper baskets, and paper Easter Egg Pics, and Easter cards. Although, the motivation has been hard to locate, it has been such a L O N G - C O L D winter!! and I have lost 3 of my stores that I normally sell in locally to the slow economy since Christmas. I am down to 2 and have struggled with the idea of just letting my business die out--- or to try to reach out to a couple of other markets outside of Wytheville. I haven't really decided yet, so for the time being... I will continue to create!

Chances Surprise "Muppet" Birthday Party!
Well, as always, I am a little behind posting to my blog. But I wanted to post these pictures and info about the surprise birthday party that our family threw for my younger sister, Chance, back in March. She turned 36 on March 22nd, so it wasn't any big number or anything, but I figured what the heck! Let's Celebrate!! She was born in 1976 and has always been a Muppet Lover! So I decided that the theme for her party would be a Muppet theme. Thinking along the lines that a Muppet Movie was released last fall, and would soon be released on DVD that finding party supplies would be easy~ WRONG!!! It was nearly impossible to find any Muppet themed stuff, as a matter of fact, the only things that I could find were some Mylar balloons, which I got from Ebay and some Kermit & Miss Piggy rings that I got from Ebay as well, as cupcake toppers. So the rest was up to me to scrounge around and find, which I did with the help of several very creative blogs that I found online and on Pinterest.
Okay, so I primarily wanted Kermit and Miss Piggy because those are her favorites, but Scooter, Gonzo, Rizzo the Rat, Animal, and Fozzy are all equally important!! So, they were all included!! But because of the Kermit & Miss Piggy thing, I decided to stick with two main colors: Kermit Green and Miss Piggy Lilac!
I tried to be creative with our food items, and like I said I got some of the ideas from other very creative blogs, so I cant take credit for them all!
Here's the menu:
Miss Piggy Pork BBQ on Bun!
Frog Legs
(Chicken Tenders)
Singing Fruit!
Sweedish Meatballs
Scooter Cheese Dip & Crackers
Rizzo Rat Snacks (popcorn, jelly beans, & candy peas and carrots, and mixed nuts)
Kermits Swamp Water Punch
I think what made this all come together was the cute little markers that I made, again this was an idea that I saw on someone else's blog. But it really pulled it all together and the kids loved them! Anyway, I think that Chance had fun, and I know all of the rest of us did, and the food was yummy!!! Happy Birthday Chance!

Basket Case!
Well, its March and I haven't done very well keeping up with my blog. I guess I'm not a very good blogger! But I do see so many creative people share their ideas, projects, and just good plain stuff through their blogs, and I really want to do that as well. So... if any of you are good bloggers, please share with me how you go about doing it. What makes you successful at it? What keeps you motivated to update your blog on a regular basis?
Okay, well I figured as long as I was trying this, that I would try to upload some pictures of these cute paper baskets that I have been making to sell over at Hannah's Attic, the local consignment shop! So here goes...

Well, it's Thursday and I am off today! So, I have been trying to get started on taking down Christmas decorations and tidy up around the house. I've got a slow cooker of stew going from a roast that we had this weekend, and it is smelling yummy! And thank goodness! because it is cold today!! I have been working on my craft room all this week, as just after Christmas I decided that it needed a complete overhaul. So far, so good! I think I am really going to like this rearrangement! I will try to post some pics once I get it all neat and tidy!
Happy Thursday everyone!

Wednesday, cold Wednesday!
I had started another blog a while back, but never did a real good job keeping up with it. So in the coming year I am going to try to do better with a daily or at least weekly blog. Still trying to figure out all the details... like how to follow who I want to, how to unfollow who I want to and how to link this blog to my igoogle page and pinterest.... any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
Talk to you tomorrow!
